Config

Keys are stored as:

  • {prefix}dir - Redis set of directory paths
  • {prefix}modified:{path} - modification timestamps

VFS.md

The VFS.md an agent reads with Redis mounted at /<path>.

Supported Unix Commands for VFS

Unix commands work on each path as on a local filesystem, as far as the path supports them:

Limitations of Unix Commands for VFS

Where a path differs from a local filesystem:Run man <cmd> or <cmd> --help for one command’s usage.
The filesystem is fully user-defined - create any directory structure with mkdir, touch, tee, etc. Example:

Cache

Index TTL is 0, so listings are read from Redis every time. A workspace index: block still applies its ttl to this mount.

Integration

What Redis answers through its own API, so fewer files are read. Integration explains each command.
